I used to eat persimmons all the time as a child :) Rediscovered them!
400 ml Rice Milk
1 tsp shredded coconut
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch vanilla powder
Blend in a high speed blender until frothy and very warm. Let it sit for 5 Minutes, then Blend again for another 3-5 Minutes. That’s my secret for a good nutmilk based drink :)
Mache is a very common green here in Germany. It’s a winter green, very mild and delicate.
1 handfull spinache
1 handfull mache
3 large bananas
Breakfast at a friend’s house
Having a little holiday and celebrating my breakfast with fruit and banana-cinnamon-date porridge. Divine!
Love the Yogi Tea Brand. I’m always looking forward to the little affirmation on the tea tag.
Raw fudge balls
Peanutbutter, cashews, dates, vanilla powder, buckwheat, cinnamon.
High in fat. Not 80/10/10’ish, but Ohhh so delish!
2 tbsp raw buckwheat flakes
2 tbsp raw rice flakes
1 tbsp shredded flax
Soak for at least 10 min (or over night) in sauce:
200 ml water
Zest of 1 Orange
3 fresh dates
5-10 haselnuts (keep it as low fat as you like)
The best bananas
I tried a lot of different brands (=available in germany) of bananas in the last months. The “Golden” and the “Carmita” bananas are far my favourites! They stay nice and firm when ripe. They are sweet and at the same time have a slightly tangy flavour. Other brands tend to taste alcoholy when they are spottet.
8 fresh dates
1 tbsp pure cocoa powder (or carob powder)
500 ml very warm water
Blend everything in a highspeed blender until frothy. It’s sooo delicious and brings up childhood memories. It tastes exactly like hot chocolate from a vending machine… Enjoy!
It’s date season! Got these dates at my local grocer. Delicious!
